Labyrinth: The Ultimate Visual History by Paula M. Block and Terry J. Erdmann (9781608878109; Oct. 18) celebrates the 30th anniversary of Jim Henson's 1986 film Labyrinth, a musical fantasy starring David Bowie as Jareth, the Goblin King, who kidnaps teenager Sarah's (Jennifer Connelly) infant brother to an otherworldly maze. Initially a box office disappointment, the film has since gained a wide cult following. The Ultimate Visual History includes interviews with cast and crewmembers, sketches, story notes and concept art as well as a film poster. It also features a foreword by Henson's son, Brian, and an introduction by puppeteer Toby Froud, who played Sarah's infant brother in the film. Paula M. Block and Terry J. Erdmann are a husband-and-wife team who have written numerous nonfiction guides about Star Trek and other fantasy franchises.

Bromberg, designed by David Hawcock, illustrated by Claudio Sciarrone (9781608878826; Oct. 25) springs Donatello, Leonardo, Michelangelo and Raphael out of the sewer and off the page on new adventures above and below New York City. The teenage turtles tumble through five action-packed scenes, from training in the Turtle Lair to fighting the Foot Clan in Shredder's hideout, all based on Nickelodeon's animated series. Brian J. Bromberg is the author of 13 children's books and several short stories for adults. The Art of Jock by Will Dennis and Jock (9781608878055, Sept. 20) is a compilation of work from Mark Simpson, also known as Jock, an illustrator of comics, movie posters and other pop art. Jock is an Eisner Award nominee and New York Times bestseller whose work had been published by Marvel, DC, Image and pop-culture company Mondo. The Art of Jock includes a foreword by Peter Berg, an introduction by Jim Lee, and an afterword by Scott Snyder, plus two gatefolds, and vellum and acetate overlays to further illustrate Jock's creative process. Master of Puppets is a six-time platinum album and a high point in the band's history; its triumphant tour was overshadowed by the death of bassist Cliff Burton in a tour bus accident. The book includes a foreword by lead Metallica vocalist James Hetfield and an afterword by Ray Burton, Cliff Burton's father. Matt Taylor is also the author of Jaws: Memories from Martha's Vineyard.
Grit and Glamour: The Street Style, High Fashion, and Legendary Music of the 1970s by Peter Occhiogrosso, photographs by Allan Tannenbaum (9781608878192; Oct. 25) is a collection of photographs taken by artist and photographer Allan Tannenbaum during the 1970s, with subjects ranging from the Rolling Stones and John Lennon to Andy Warhol. Each section of the book covers a different aspect of '70s New York City: fashion, nightlife, street scenes, art, music and more. It includes a foreword by Debbie Harry, lead singer of the band Blondie. Peter Occhiogrosso is the author or coauthor of more than 20 books, and has been a music journalist for many years.
On October 18, Insight Editions will release six stationery, notebook, and journal tie-ins to the upcoming film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. On November 18, Insight will release two IncrediBuilds featuring creatures from the film. The film (Nov. 18), written by J.K. Rowling and directed by David Yates, takes place 70 years before the events of Harry Potter. It follows Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) in New York's secret wizarding community.
