Associate Production Manager

Position: Full-Time, Hybrid
Position Overview:
Abrams is in search of an Associate Production Manager. Candidate must be energetic, have strong attention to detail, and be a proactive problem solver.
Responsibilities
· Point person for 20+ books per season across imprints and divisions. Working with both domestic and foreign vendors, this will involve quoting, scheduling, routing and reviewing proofs, addressing file concerns, issuing purchase orders, and reviewing invoices.
· Manage ARC production, working cross-departmentally to manage timelines and expectations.
· Manage department’s administrative needs: weekly reporting, agenda management, and invoice processing. Ad hoc reporting and seasonal project support as needed.
Qualifications/Skills
· Must have 3+ years’ experience in book production, with a thorough understanding of book making process. Experience in both 1C and 4C is a plus.
· Must be organized, detail oriented, have a flexible mind set, good problem-solving skills, and be able to multi-task.
· Team player with strong communication skills.
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft apps and Adobe Acrobat. Familiarity with Firebrand’s Title Management a plus.

Salary
• $45–50k, commensurate with experience
