Experienced Bookseller Wanted

We have just moved our store to a wonderful new location in Del Mar, CA!  We are looking for a fulltime bookseller with bookselling experience. We are a full service bookstore and so we need a bookseller who likes other human beings of all kinds; works well with others; and likes to help people. Curiosity about people as well as books, ideas, and experiences are a must. We are looking for someone who wants to work with books for the long haul.

We are a small independent bookstore with a long and storied history in the book business.  After working for 10 years in book and record stores new and used, Alison Reid and John Evans opened Diesel, A Bookstore in the San Francisco Bay Area.  Nearly 10 bookstores and three and a half decades later, they own Camino Books: For the Road Ahead in Del Mar, CA. 

Small but powerful, it has a fascinating array of titles across most categories, with special interest in literary, cultural, political and historical works.  We have author events, book clubs and tend to radiate out into the communities we serve.
