Barnes & Noble closed its store at Kierland Commons in Scottsdale, Ariz., at the end of December, the Arizona Republic reported, noting that the chain "has 14 remaining stores in the Valley, including locations at Tempe Marketplace, Desert Ridge Marketplace in Phoenix and on Bell Road in Peoria."
