Moon Palace Books, Minneapolis, Minn., is in the process of expanding its retail space. On Facebook yesterday, co-owners Angela and Jamie Schwesnedl posted: "We are busy setting up book cases and shelves, and painting... and later this summer, we'll move our books from the long, narrow space at the back of the Wonderland Park building that we've been in for almost 4 years, and open in the front of the building. Our entrance will be on Minnehaha Ave, between Peace Coffee and The Trylon."
This will allow Moon Palace Books to "have nearly twice as much space, and our hours will expand--we'll be open earlier AND later than we are now. We're thrilled to be able to offer a bigger selection of books, host more events, and give everyone more opportunity to see and visit their neighborhood bookstore in South Minneapolis."
