The night before the Kincaid fire broke out, Copperfield's in Petaluma, Calif., hosted Dav Pilkey for nearly 1,000 fans. The store reported, "Our Best Damn Events Team pulled off the mighty event, squeaking it in under the wire before all the power went off.
