Canadian author/illustrator Sydney Smith was in New York City last week to celebrate his newest picture book, Small in the City (Neal Porter Books/Holiday House) being named a New York Times Best Illustrated Book of 2019, as well as receiving the Silver Medal at the Society of Illustrators Original Art Show.
