As part of the the 32nd Oxford Conference for the Book, Square Books in Oxford, Miss., hosted the Willie Morris Awards celebration. The awards, named for Mississippi author Willie Morris, honor "some of the best literature telling rich, original stories about the U.S. South marked by a strain of honest optimism." Pictured: (r.)
