Mahar Asher Sperling has been appointed v-p, associate publisher, at Inner Traditions International, which specializes in books on spirituality, holistic health, ancient wisdom, psychedelics, and personal transformation. He is taking over daily operations and management of the company from his father, founder Ehud C. Sperling.

Since joining Inner Traditions International in 2020, Mahar Sperling has launched and grown Inner Traditions Audio into a steady imprint producing 60 audiobooks per year. Mahar also relaunched Inner Traditions' Spanish-language program into an independent imprint producing 20 books a year, with staff in Mexico City, Madrid, and Caracas, and distribution into every major Spanish-language market in the world. His other contributions include a U.S. distribution partnership with noted Spanish mind/body/spirit publisher Grupo Gaia and, for the past year, leading new title acquisitions, a role he will continue in.
