Peggy Zieran and Judith Vaughan (l. and r.) introduced author Carol Hoenig at her book launch for The Liberation of Jane Carter (Sibylline Press) at Molloy University in Rockville Centre, Long Island, N.Y. The three women are former employees of Borders Books & Music, are very close friends, and have a podcast: Wildflowers Podcast, Books, Booze and Banter on YouTube. What made this launch so much fun was not just the enthusiasm of the crowd but getting a phone call from Wales as a fan watched Hoenig sign a copy of her historical novel for her. Hoenig also donated a portion of her sales in honor of reading enthusiast Cindy Vaupel, who recently passed away, and was a board member of RVC Friends of MLK Community Centre.
